With the Holistic Living plus energy buildings at Wannsee in Berlin, the internationally active planning agency GRAFT Gesellschaft von Architekten implemented a holistic approach connecting modern architecture and innovative building equipment with the highest requirements with regard to sustainability and health. Natural building materials such as wood and clay create a healthy indoor climate, while the use of the latest technologies and the pioneering design provide the highest quality of life.
One detached house and two semi-detached houses were built. The central design and functional element of the respective residential areas, a combination of a fireplace and a stairway as well as the corridors on the upper floor are designed with CLAYTEC clay plaster. Finishing off the look was YOSIMA clay designer plaster in the colour variant gold ochre BRGE 2.2. The company which realised the project was the clay construction specialist Ökologische Werkstätten Günter Wlosnewski in 14772 Brandenburg an der Havel. Photos: Tobias Hein
