In Ampfing, Bavaria, architect Martin Häckl carried out the renovation of the hairdressing salon Wimmer Friseure on behalf of the client Sonja Wimmer. The architect took over planning and execution in equal measure, professionally advised by Claytec's trade partner Hermann Gärtner. For the redesign of the salon Häckl relied entirely on clay building materials from Claytec. The design focuses on rammed earth walls.
A comfortable room atmosphere was created by using the Claytec Pavadentro wood fibre insulation board, which was plastered with loam rendering and finished with YOSIMA loam design plaster in the colour Kolumba grey. The consistent interior finishing with earthen building materials benefits the moisture regulation, the solid rammed earth walls also serve as a heat accumulator.
