The  Beluga Shipping GmbH was the market leader in the area of heavy sea transports. In summer 2009, its new company headquarters in Bremen was completed. The building is located on the premises of the Bremer Teerhof, a river island in the Weser and an extremely traditional place of the Hanseatic city. The 7-storey office building offers space for 300 employees on approx. 12,000 m² floor space. With its restrained design on the outside, it impresses on the inside with surprising architectural accents. These include the expressively curved staircases, which have an individual design on each floor.
Careful attention was paid to ecological quality when selecting the materials. For the wall design the choice fell on  Clayfix (today YOSIMA). In total, approx. 6500 m² were plastered with a mixture of  fine plaster pure white (today YOSIMA WE 0) and  Ambiente flash (WE 0 with Flash surcharge). Particularly impressive are the large connected areas in the entrance foyer with its large glass fronts.

The rubbed Clayfix surface creates softly flowing shadows in a streaky light, which could not be achieved with any paint or other filling techniques. There are some tricky details, such as the coating of the round columns. These and other hurdles were excellently mastered by the executing  workshop and painting company C. Kapser(AmPnBsP). The company is based near Wilhelmshaven and had won the trust of the client with two previous projects. The 5 plaster surfaces were produced with only eight employees.
